Group Classes
All group classes are taught on Sundays at The Beat dance studio in Berkeley. Bring a partner (note: we will not switch partners).
Every month, we focus on the same two dances, one latin and one rhythm or smooth, for four consecutive Sundays. The goal is to remember what we have learned and to add new material progressively. The Spring Series classes as scheduled from 5-6pm as follows:
East Coast Swing and Samba
May 5, 12, 19, 26
Waltz and Chacha
June 2, 9, 16, 23
Hustle and Tango
July 7, 14, 21, 28
During the same dates, but from 6-7pm, advanced students will participate in a Performance Class. They will learn and practice a choreographed routine of Foxtrot, Samba, Waltz, Tango and Polka. They will perform the routine during the Graduation Ball. They will also cover East Coast Swing, Chacha and Hustle, time permitting.
Private Lessons
We offer private lessons if you and your partner would like to:
accelerate your learning process,
focus on certain dances, and/or
have us choreograph dances for an upcoming wedding.
We also will come to your PARTY to teach:
any-themed line dance (country, latin, motown...)
or
partner dances for couples.
Graduation Ball
All students and their guests are invited to attend a Graduation Ball on Sunday August 4, from 6-9pm at the Berkeley Live Oak Community Center.
